We are always looking for motivated and collaborative individuals passionate about neurobiology, motor systems, engineering, and clinical translation.

Post-doctoral applicants:  Please provide a 1) cover letter explaining why you are interested in joining the lab and future goals, 2) updated curriculum vitae (including list of publications), and 3) contact information for three references.  

Graduate applicants: Prospective MSc and PhD students can apply through the Neuroscience program.  Please also e-mail a 1) cover letter explaining why you are interested in joining the lab and future goals, 2) updated curriculum vitae (including list of publications), 3) contact information for three references, and 4) unofficial transcript prior to applying to the program itself.     

MD/PhD applicants: Please follow the guidelines for the MD/PhD application process at UBC.  As part of the process, you are required to outline potential supervisors of interest for your PhD.  If you are interested in joining the lab, please also e-mail a 1) cover letter explaining why you are interested in joining the lab and future goals, 2) updated curriculum vitae (including list of publications), 3) contact information for three references, and 4) unofficial transcript.     

Undergraduate applicants:  Undergraduate applicants can be taken into the lab when they have at least a third-year standing and begin via credit-based opportunities (e.g., Honours Thesis, Directed Studies).  Summer positions and other full-time positions (e.g., Co-op) are also possible.  Please provide a 1) cover letter explaining why you are interested in joining the lab and future goals and 2) an unofficial transcript.  We do not take students for volunteer positions.
